Digital events,
born in the virtual.
In-game concerts, virtual-world gatherings, and digital-native formats, the events that exist only because the medium does.
Events that
cannot exist offline.
Some events could only happen in a digital world. Digital events are born there: in-game concerts watched by millions inside a game, gatherings in virtual worlds, and spectacles built to do things no physical venue ever could. Rather than moving a normal event online, they are designed for the medium, using its freedom from physics, space, and scale. This section is about those native events, the occasions that exist because the digital world makes them possible.
The live show reimagined was familiar to us for two decades. The brand opened as a Fort Collins music store in 1999, around live performance and the spectacle of a show, the very thing in-game concerts now reinvent for a virtual stage. Digital events take that spectacle and rebuild it where physics no longer apply. Knowing what makes a live show special is something we carried for years, and it is precisely what these events reach for.
"An in-game concert reinvents the live show on a stage where physics no longer apply. We knew what made a show special for twenty years, which is precisely the magic these digital events chase."

The show,
reinvented.
A great show is a spectacle, and a digital event reinvents that spectacle without limits. A concert thrills with staging and shared energy; an in-game concert keeps that thrill while doing what no venue could, defying physics, scale, and space. The spirit of the live show stays, the constraints fall away. The stage changes from a venue to a virtual world, the magic of a spectacle does not. Digital events are that show, reborn where anything is possible.
Digital events push the boundary of the gatherings we cover. They are the native cousins of online events, they happen on immersive platforms and inside gaming worlds, and they expand what the esports world can stage. When an event is built for the medium, it can become something no physical venue could ever hold.
The throughline holds: a spectacle moves people, however it is staged. The crowd thrilled by a live show and the millions inside an in-game concert feel the same wonder. Digital events are proof that the spectacle we knew in music can be reinvented in the virtual, where a show can do things no stage ever could.
We knew the
show.
Most coverage of digital events treats them as gimmicks and misses the spectacle they reinvent. Ours comes from two decades around live performance: we know that a show is a spectacle, that shared wonder is the point, and that the thrill of a live moment can be rebuilt in new forms. Understanding what makes a show special is something we carried for years.
From the online events they extend to the immersive platforms they run on, from the live shows they reinvent to the esports world they expand, digital events are born in the virtual. We knew the show for twenty years.
Questions about digital
events.
What are digital events?
Digital events are occasions born in digital spaces: in-game concerts watched by millions inside a game, gatherings in virtual worlds, and spectacles built to do things no physical venue could. Rather than moving a normal event online, they are designed for the medium, using its freedom from physics, space, and scale. A digital event exists because the virtual world makes it possible, not as a substitute for a physical one.
What is an in-game concert?
An in-game concert is a live music event staged inside a video game, where players gather as the show plays out around them with effects no real stage could produce. Major examples have drawn tens of millions of simultaneous attendees. They blend a concert, a game, and a shared event into something native to the medium, a spectacle that uses the virtual world to do what a physical venue never could.
How are digital events different from online events?
Digital events are born digital, designed for the medium: in-game concerts and virtual-world gatherings that could not exist offline. Online events are familiar events simply held over the internet, like a streamed tournament or launch that could otherwise be physical. One is native to digital spaces and impossible elsewhere; the other moves a normal event online. Digital-native is the form; online is the delivery.
What does a music store know about digital events?
We knew the live show. From a Fort Collins store opened in 1999, we were around live performance and the spectacle of a show, the very thing in-game concerts now reinvent for a virtual stage. Digital events take that spectacle and rebuild it where physics no longer apply, which is why a music shop understands the magic these events reach for.
